Ms. Emily is looking for photos you may have of family members who are/were veterans, to be used in a slideshow for Remembrance Day. Please bring any photos to Ms. Emily as soon as possible.
Students have now received their Picture Proofs from Lifetouch. All photo orders are due by Monday, October 23rd. You can purchase photos by completing the enclosed order form or by ordering online (see order form). If you would like your child to have retakes done, then please return the proof package stating retakes and we will let you know the date as soon as we get it.
Kindergarten Registration will be taking place at New Brunswick Elementary Schools from Tuesday October 10th to Friday October 13th. This is for all children turning 5 by December 31, 2018 and who will start school in September 2018. The following information is required for registration: Birth Certificate and/or Medicare Card and Proof of Immunization.
We will be tie-dying t-shirts again this year to wear on our Terry Fox Walk. We would like to have every student bring in a white or light colored cotton t-shirt in order to tie-dye it. It can be a used shirt, simply ensure that it's clean. All shirts must be in by Tuesdasy, September 19th so we have time to tie-dye them before our school walk on Thursday, September 28th. Thank you for your cooperation.
Student Council elections will take place during the week of September 11-15. Candidates in grades 5-8 will put posters up around the school and elections will take place at the end of the week.
Friday, September 8th at 12:25pm we will be having a welcome back BBQ for students and their families. Please sign and return the memo going home today to indicate if you are able to attend. We look forward to seeing you!
Welcome Back! The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 5th. Please note that our bell schedule has changed this year. All students will now go out for morning recess and have an extended lunch to include outdoor recess. As a result there will no longer be activities from 2:00-3:00.
We will be having a welcome back BBQ for students and their families on Friday, September 8th starting at 12:25pm.
