Spring Cleaning with Meaning

Posted: October 28, 2014

Last year, Jacquet River School collected over 100 bags of clothing for the “Spring Cleaning with Meaning” Clothing Drive Project. Anglophone North School District (ASD-N) is working with The New Brunswick Association for Community Living to help bring awareness of services provided in our community by this agency. How does it work? ASD-N will collect garbage bags of used clothing and other goods as listed below. NBACL will provide a monetary contribution for each bag collected. The money received by ASD-N will be used to support Literacy programs across the district. We plan on doing this project again this spring, so please keep us in mind when you are cleaning out your closets. This is a worthwhile cause and it benefits the school’s literacy programs.
