We are very excited to welcome back our JRS Tigers for the 2022-2023 School year. School begins for all students on Tuesday, September 6th. Students can arrive at the school for 8:20 and our day begins at 8:45. K-2 students are dismissed at 2:10 and Grades 3-8 students are dismissed at 3:00. Lunch orders from the Superette will begin on Monday, September 12th. Please be sure to send a bagged lunch with your child for the first week of school.
At Home Learning will began today for all K-8 Students. At this time, we do not know how long students will be learning from home. Please keep an eye here and on our Facebook page for updates. All homeroom teachers have communicated with parents via voicemail today explaining which platforms they will be using to deliver their lessons (Teams, Teacher Pages, Class Facebook groups).

Kindergarten Registration is taking place this week (Oct 15-18) for children who turn 5 by December 31, 202 and who will start school in Septemer 2020. To register, stop by the office and see Ms. Emily. Remember to bring along your child's birth certificate, medicare card and proof of immunization. Be sure to register early so you will receive information and invitations for activities to support your child's learning.
Tuesday, September 3rd is the first day of school for students. Kindergarten students will have a staggered entry Tuesday and Wednesday. We can't wait to see everyone!
Our Terry Fox Walk will take place Thursday, September 27 in the afternoon. Students are asked to collect pledges and record on the pledge sheet that went home last week. Pledges should be returned by the day of our walk. We will also be tie-dying t-shirts to wear on our walk. Please send in t-shirts by Monday, Sept. 24.
