We would like to welcome everyone back to another year at JRS! The first day of school for all students will be Tuesday, September 4th with the exception of our kindergarten students who will be doing a staggered entry on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Students are currently selling tickets as part of our schoolwide fundraiser on a Moncton Get Away! Winner will receive $100 Gas Card, 1 Free night stay at a Moncton Hotel and 2 Admission vouchers for Magic Mountain FunZone and SplashZone. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Draw will take place on Friday, June 22. We would like each student to attempt to sell some tickets as they will all benefit from the money raised through school activities and events. If students sell all their tickets and would like more please see Ms.
Please take the time to join us Thursday, April 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm or Friday, April 13 from 9:00-11:30am to discuss your child's progress to date. We look forward to seeing everyone!
Jacquet River School is working with The New Brunswick Association for Community Living to help bring awareness of the support provided by this agency for people with intellectual disabilities in our region.
How does it work? Jacquet River School will collect garbage bags of used clothing and other goods as listed below. NBACL will provide a monetary contribution for each bag collected.
Carnival week will take place at JRS next week, February 26 - March 2nd. We ask all students to dress-up and participate in a few activities to make it a fun last week of school before March Break!
